Кав'ярня KOFEIN
The author of the object, Dmytro Kyrychenko, says about KOFEIN:
KOFEIN is, first and foremost, coffee. And this coffee is real and truly delicious.
The first coffee shop opened on a crisp winter morning on December 21, 2003, in the historic center of Kharkiv, on Rymarska Street.
Thirteen years later, a decision was made to radically change the format of KOFEIN and, accordingly, its interior. By radically transforming the zoning, increasing the total area of the premises through the use of the basement floor, and completely re-equipping the technical part, a completely new interior was created that perfectly reflects innovative modernity.
The layout was designed to bring visitors as close as possible to the magical world of making aromatic coffee and delicious food, with an open kitchen and island bar. The coffee shop area is conditionally divided into functional zones that flow harmoniously into one another and create a single “breathing” space of comfort and lightness.
The leitmotif of the coffee shop was to create a functional design aimed at promoting the use of environmentally friendly materials. One of the main features is FunderMax interior composite panels with an anti-vandal coating. Since they are made of high-tech and environmentally friendly materials, are not subject to deformation and are resistant to damage, their use in an unusual way - for decorating walls and columns - became the ideal solution.
The theme of eco-design in this interior is manifested not only in the use of natural materials, but also emphasized by the reflection of flora in details such as floral ornaments, a wall of reindeer moss, and the bright colors of mosaic lamps and furniture. The harmonious combination of colors, volumes, and soft diffused lighting creates a feeling of unobtrusiveness and comfort in the KOFEIN art cafe.
Thus, a completely new, modern, laconic interior was created, preserving the basic concept of the establishment—a real coffee shop with a cozy atmosphere.
