This year’s InterBuildExpo 2026 was a landmark event for the entire market. Virtually every partner, client, and booth visitor asked the same question: “How was the exhibition?” And now we can confidently answer: it was not just an event showcasing new products, but a platform for substantive dialogue, where interest gradually turned into concrete inquiries and real solutions.
More than 5,000 visitors—this isn’t just a number, but an audience that came with a clear purpose. Among the guests were architects, developers, installation companies, and private clients. It was precisely this diverse yet professional audience that confirmed: the market is changing, becoming more focused and practical. Whereas previously exhibitions were dominated by a general introduction to the product, this time the main focus was on the question of choice—what exactly would suit a specific project, task, and budget.
In total, about 60 companies participated in the exhibition. And while this isn’t about scale in the traditional sense, it’s certainly about adaptability and the ability to operate under challenging conditions. Today’s market is shaped not merely by the number of participants, but by those who can find solutions, move forward, and stay in business even amid a crisis.
At our booth, the most talked-about topics were commercial and residential facades, sanitary partitions, and suspended ceilings. Solutions based on Fundermax HPL panels, large-format Techlam ceramic slabs, and Swisspearl fiber cement boards drew particular attention. These materials generated the most interest among visitors, as they meet the current demand for a combination of aesthetics, functionality, and durability. There was also significant interest in architectural ceramics as a solution for modern projects where both visual expressiveness and technical reliability are important. Among the notable trends were metal mesh facades—a material that adds lightness, transparency, and dynamism to architecture.
InterBuildExpo 2026 has once again confirmed that today’s market is looking not just for an attractive display, but for a partner capable of delivering solutions. The focus has shifted from inspiration to practice, from browsing to selection, and from general interest to specifics. And this is precisely the main takeaway from the exhibition.
